CHILDREN'S FURNITURE RANGE

Our featured Children’s Furniture Range is by the Melbourne based Australian owned company QToys. Starting as a small family business, the QToys design team now includes education specialists, teachers, artists and engineers. QToys operates it’s own factory in Vietnam that produces these products with over 80% of the toys and furniture still being crafted by hand.

All QToys wooden products, including the Children’s Furniture Range are made exclusively from plantation and/or recycled timber.

RUBBERWOOD FURNITURE – Plantation rubber trees are tapped for natural latex, old and poor producing trees are cleared and replenished. Plantation rubber trees gives the QToys furniture the natural beauty of wood while caring for the environment. Rubberwood is a semi hardwood.

ACACIA TIMBER FURNITURE – Plantation Acacia trees are established in degraded sites that are unsuitable for other agricultural uses. QToys only uses Acacia plantation timber which is also a source of income for many low income farmers in the area. Acacia timber is a hardwood and has a rich natural grain.

Recycled branches of Rubber trees and Acacia trees, usually used as firewood are carefully selected and treated to craft into QToys products.

The QToys children’s furniture range is manufactured to a high standard using eco friendly plantation timber and is finished in natural oil.

Variations may occur due to the natural timber products used.
